Bayer Leverkusen advances to the Europa League semi-finals
Bayer Leverkusen booked their place in the Europa League semi-finals with a 1-0 victory over West Ham United on Thursday.
The German side took the lead in the 58th minute through Lucas Alario, and held on to their advantage to secure a 3-1 aggregate victory.
Leverkusen will now face either Barcelona or Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi-finals.

Bayer Leverkusen have been in impressive form in the Europa League this season, winning all six of their group stage matches before beating Atalanta and Inter Milan in the knockout rounds.
The German side will be confident of their chances of winning the competition, and will be hoping to add to their UEFA Cup triumph in 1988.

West Ham United's European adventure came to an end on Thursday, as they were beaten 1-0 by Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Hammers had a good chance of reaching the semi-finals, but they were unable to break down a resolute Leverkusen defence.
West Ham will now focus on their Premier League campaign, where they are currently in seventh place.
